Geraldine Williams (Gez) – Director (CeMAP)
As the founder and Director of Bubble Finance Hub, Gez Williams provides specialised advice on self-employed mortgages and specialist lending (bad credit). Her expertise includes providing advice to CIS Contractors and Limited Company Directors.
Gez lives in Burbage, Leicestershire, and is a busy working mum to two children. Having worked in the mortgage industry since 1999, Gez’s career started with Abbey National (now Santander). She first worked in the mortgage intermediary sales department and then completed her mortgage underwriting qualifications with Abbey National. Gez was responsible for running a team of underwriters. She underwrote high volumes of applications on a daily basis. Gez gained a great deal of knowledge of the overall mortgage process, from application through to completion.
Gez moved from high-street lending into the specialist lending market. She worked with lenders such as GE Money (First National and iGroup) and Lehman Brothers (SPML and Preferred Mortgages). As an experienced mortgage underwriter, this experience helped Gez to become a knowledgeable adviser. She understands what lenders are looking for when assessing mortgage applications.
Gez became a broker in 2012 after self-studying and passing three CeMAP exams in quick succession. Bubble Finance Hub was set up so she could have the flexibility to work around bringing up her two children. “Bubble” quickly became a recognised brand in the local area and the business continues to grow at a steady rate with a team of brokers all over the UK.
In her spare time, Gez loves reading, listening to music and going to gigs. She also enjoys socialising with her friends and family, roller-skating, travelling, walking with her dog (Fozzy the Chow Chow) and cooking.
